Our mission in the EHSO Fire Safety Group is to prevent and prepare for any fires on campus. Preventing fires includes doing building inspections to ensure clear paths of egress, correcting possible fire hazards, and checking building fire response equipment such as fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
Preparing for a fire event includes training on proper fire extinguisher use and conducting evacuation drills.
You can do your part to prevent fires.
Know and understand what “RACE” and “PASS” procedures mean.
Report any fire extinguisher that is missing or has a broken seal to the Fire Safety Group by emailing email@example.com.
